UNCONDITIONAL CASH TRANSFER PROGRAM (UCT) | PROJECTS
The availability of cash to the community has increased the community purchasing power for food products and has positively impacted on the lives of the beneficiaries by reducing food and economic vulnerabilities of the poorest community groups.
STS UCT program was implemented with financial support from FAO. The UCT specifically targeted the poorest members in Qoryoley (Maduulow, Batarmiin, Farxaane, Jeerow, Buufow-Shiidka villages), Marka (Anti-banan ,SH-Ali-Garane, Cadimoole, Degta-Biyo-Cagaar, Jiddo, Uraye, Caday-Lay, DegtaCali-Xirsi, Biyocagaar, Reydabley, Digwariiri villages) and ( Areemoog, Dhajaley, Irdole and Jambaluul villages) and helped the beneficiaries to address their most pressing financial needs such as purchase of foods and other basic necessities.

Total of US $ 168,760 transferred directly to the most vulnerable households in Qoryoley, Marka and Afgoye districts through UCT.
