STS primarily operates in South Central Somalia, focusing on regions affected by poverty, conflict, and inequality. We collaborate with local partners and stakeholders to ensure our interventions are context-specific and responsive to local needs and priorities. Our work is focused in the following areas:
Galmudug State: We work with communities in Galmudug State, addressing the root causes of poverty and vulnerability, and promoting sustainable development.
Hirshabelle State: Our programs in Hirshabelle State aim to improve access to basic needs such as food, water, and shelter, and empower communities to achieve sustainable livelihoods.
Banadir State: We support vulnerable communities in Banadir State by providing access to education, healthcare, and other essential services, and promoting gender equality and social inclusion.
Southwest State: Our initiatives in Southwest State focus on promoting sustainable agriculture and entrepreneurship, and strengthening market linkages to improve the livelihoods of small-scale farmers.
Jubaland State: In Jubaland State, we work to improve water and sanitation facilities, promote health and nutrition, and support disaster preparedness and response efforts.
